PESHAWAR
President, Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry Fazal Moqeem Khan reiterated his firm resolve to address business community issues on priority basis.
Fazal made these remarks while taking charge of his office and talking to various delegations belonging to CNG, Petroleum and other sectors which came to congratulate him here on Tuesday. On the occasion, newly elected senior vice president Abdul Jalil Jan and Vice president Shehryar Khan also present.
He noted the business community is facing numerous difficulties under the prevailing circumstances.
The SCCI chief said the resolution of business community problems is essential to bring economic stability and promote trade, industry, export and CNG and petroleum sectors.
He promised that policies will be formulated in consultation with the business community. He added efforts would be initiated to solve their business community problems by effectively presenting them to the government houses and relevant institutions.
Those who held meeting with newly elected office bearers of the SCCI include the provincial president of CNG Association, Chairman Pervez Khan Khattak, the president of Sarafa Association, Sher Farzand, senior vice-president of the CNG association Minhajuddin, vice-presidents Bacha Wazir, Ghalib Khan, executive members Qazi Amjad Ali, Rashid Khattak, Luqman Shah, Ajmal Khan and Taimur Shah, Central Executive Committee members Khaliqur Rehman, Ali Jan, Akbar Shah Jahan and Qari Hafeez from Gar Mandi, Information Secretary of Pakistan Youth Organization Abdul Wahab Musa Zai were included.
The delegation also held a separate meeting with SVP Abdul Jalil Jan and congratulated him on his assumption of office. In the delegation, Engineer Aurangzeb Khalil, Maulana Abdul Rauf Jan, Amir Muhammad Khan, Hakeem Khidmat Hussain, Mukhtar Hussain, Imran Munir, while Shahryar Khan, the Vice President of the SCCI, also met the businessmen associated with different businesses after taking charge of his position and congratulated him.
The delegation included Haji Asrar Saraf, Haji Sherfarzand, Owais Qarni and others were included in the delegation.
Fazal Moqeem and other members of the cabinet have expressed their determination on this occasion and said that they will work on a fast-track basis to resolve issues in various sectors.
Office bearers said they will try their best to fulfill the trust shown in them and will never disappoint the business community.
