Second shift program in government schools are feared to be closed in Khayber Pakhtunkhawa (KPK) due to non-payment of salaries.
According to sources, many teachers have left teaching in second shift due to non-payment of salaries.
Eight thousand employees
are deprived of salaries for four months.
The second shift was
started in Khayber Pakhtunkhawa tribal and 27 bandobasti district schools.
In this regard additional secretary of education has said, funds have been issued for program and salaries will be paid soon.
Additional Secretary has said, 3, 330000 have been given to relevant deputy commissioner and education officers.
