Secretary information and public relations Dr. Muhammad Bakhtiar Khan paid a detailed visit to Pakhtunkhwa Radio FM 92.2 Peshawar on Thursday.
During the visit, he inspected various departments including news, production, accounts, technical, and administrative sections.
Secretary information KP was accompanied by Director Creative Wing Dr. Danish Babar, Producer Junaid Ali, and other officials.
Station Director Haroon Khan Daudzai briefed Dr. Bakhtiar Khan on the history, performance, and services of the radio station, established in 2009.
He highlighted that Pakhtunkhwa Radio broadcasts educational, literary, cultural, social awareness, current affairs, entertainment, and documentary programs, including dramas and features, which have been well-received by the public.
Appreciating the station’s efforts, Dr. Bakhtiar Khan said Pakhtunkhwa Radio serves as a voice for the public and plays a vital role in promoting culture, education, and social development in the province.
Dr. Bakhtiar urged the team to create more innovative and modern content, and directed them to produce programs on topics such as science and technology, climate change, disaster management, industrialization, agriculture, livestock, success stories, and artificial intelligence.
