PESHAWAR: The Authorities in the Malakand district have enforced Section 144 for one month, said an official notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Wednesday. Under the enforcement, a range of activities will be strictly prohibited to maintain law and order. The ban includes public display of weapons, motorcycle one-wheeling, use of vehicles with tinted windows, and the sale and purchase of fireworks. Additionally, setting up illegal livestock markets and collection of animal hides by unregistered organizations has also been forbidden during this period. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that these measures are necessary to ensure public safety and preserve a peaceful environment in the area. Violators will face strict legal action under the relevant law. APP
