Government City Girls College, Gulbahar, Peshawar on Thursday organised an awareness seminar on fog and its environmental impacts.
The seminar was organized by the Department of Zoology and was attended by a large number of faculty members and students, including the college principal.
The primary objective of the seminar was to raise awareness among faculty members and students about fog, its contribution to environmental pollution, and its harmful effects on human health.
During the seminar, students delivered speeches on environmental pollution, its consequences, preventive measures, and ways to control its impact.
College Principal, Professor Rabia Sikandar, appreciated the Department of Zoology for taking this important initiative and successfully organizing the seminar. At the conclusion of the seminar, the principal distributed certificates among the students who participated in the speech competition on fog and environmental pollution.
Following the seminar, the college principal led faculty members and students in an awareness walk within the college premises to highlight the impact of fog on climate change.
