If truly followed, the Seerat-un-Nabi is the lonely way that can build youth character and prevent them from engaging in immoral practices and harmful behaviors that are becoming increasingly prevalent in today’s society.
The view was expressed by the speakers in a seminar titled “Youth character building in the light of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) and awareness about the harmful effects of online gaming, drugs and intoxicating pills” initiated in Government Postgraduate College Landi Kotal on the last day.
Scores of students, teachers, tribal elites and members of civil society attended the gathering.
Addressing on the occasion Maulana Shoab, Professor Shah Muhammad, Professor Aminullah and others emphasized the importance of following the teachings and practical example of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The youth were the most valuable asset of the nation and could play a vital role in building a responsible, skilled and successful society, they added and said by adopting the principles of Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) and staying away from social evils such as drugs, intoxicating pills and excessive online gaming.
They stressed the parents and elders to have a close surveillance of their children and protect the younger generation from harmful influences and guide them towards positive activities, essential for the progress and stability of society.
The speakers urged students to focus on education, character development and constructive social engagement while avoiding activities that negatively affect their physical and mental well-being.
The participants reaffirmed their commitment to promote moral values, religious awareness and social responsibility among the youth.
At the conclusion of the seminar President of the Landi Kotal Postgraduate College Students Association, Dawood Shinwari thanked the distinguished speakers and participants for their contributions to the successful event.
