Like other parts of the country, Shab-e-Qadr was observed at different localities of the province while special religious gatherings, collective salat-e-tasbeeh and mehfil-e-naat are being held to mark the night in accordance with teaching of Islam.
Religious Vigils of Dawat-e-Islami was held at Faizan-e-Madina Peshawar where participants offered collective prayers to seek ALLAH’s forgiveness while Ulema threw light on significance of the night. They said that this night has special significance for the Muslims in which angels descend on the earth with the orders of ALLAH Almighty for welfare of faithful till dawn of the day.
Similarly, people of D.I.Khan also observed 27th Ramazan with religious zeal and zest. Special ceremonies were held at different mosques and participated by thousands of people. Special event of Dua was also held in the darkness of the night where people prayed for safety of the nation.
At the end arrangements for Sehri have also been held for the worshiping faithfuls.
Meanwhile, the police made special security measures to provide security to faithful on the sacred night. The municipal authorities had also deployed special cleanliness teams to clean surroundings of Mosques throughout the city.
