In a statement issued by Shama Munshi she said ; “I am distancing myself from Jawed Ahmed Malik and his paper “Newslark” and would.not be responsible for any request for sponsorship, finanacial and monetary and material demands or.favours” Shama Munshi says she firmly believed in reputation,integrity, and transparency and feel its time.to part ways with News Lark and it has been communicated to the Managment on June 6 2024 as the papers management was bringing a bad name to her by seeking undue favours from her contacts and referrals. Hence her journey with News Lark which began on Jawed Ahmed Malik insistence has ended so NewsLark should not be using her name in the future, rest she reserves the right to go to.the court.of law.
