Chief Traffic Officer Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat has said that all sections of the traffic should work hard for improving the overall traffic related issues in the provincial capital. He expressed these views during his visit to all sectors of the city to review the traffic system.
Abbas Majeed Marwat reviewed the presence of wardens and personnel at various points and apprised the citizens about the problems related to the traffic system. Appreciated and directed the traffic authorities to further improve the performance so that the citizens do not face any difficulty while traveling.
He further said that the traffic authorities should continue their operations against the encroachment mafia and eliminate temporary and permanent encroachments on sidewalks across the city so that pedestrians do not face any difficulties along with the flow of traffic.
He directed DSP Ring Road to discourage those who park their freight vehicles on the side of the road on Ring Road and to visit regular goods transport bases to inform the owners and transporters in this regard. Abbas Majeed Khan Marwat said that all possible efforts should be made to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the city and no negligence would be tolerated in this regard while disciplinary action would be taken against the culprits.
