SP Cantt Division Mohammad Junaid Kharl on Tuesday conducted a surprise inspection of Tehkal Police Station and reviewed security arrangements and facilities there.
During the visit, the SP met police personnel deployed at the station, received a briefing on their duties and inspected the available resources.
He also inspected the CCTV cameras, lock-up, malkhana and overall internal and external security arrangements at the police station.
The officer also reviewed correspondence, official weapons and ammunition, and residential barracks at the station.
Mr Kharl directed police personnel to make effective use of all available resources to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
He instructed officers to maintain close surveillance of suspicious individuals and activities and urged them to deal with the public courteously to further strengthen trust between the police and citizens.
