Muhammad Zubair Khan Kundi has formally assumed charge as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tribal Areas Electric Supply Company (TESCO). His appointment brings to TESCO a professional, dynamic and experienced leadership with extensive expertise in the power sector.
Muhammad Zubair Khan Kundi has more than 34 years of extensive experience in the power sector. Prior to his appointment as TESCO Chief Executive Officer, he was serving as General Manager (Operation) at PESCO. During his distinguished career, he has served in various important positions and has extensive experience in power sector management and field operations.
His long professional experience has provided him with a strong understanding of the technical, administrative and operational aspects of the electricity distribution system, which is particularly valuable for an organization like TESCO operating under unique geographical and administrative circumstances.
After assuming charge, Muhammad Zubair Khan Kundi expressed his commitment to working with TESCO’s officers and employees to improve the company’s overall performance, enhance customer services, reduce line losses, improve recovery and strengthen administrative and operational systems.
He emphasized that professional discipline, teamwork, effective monitoring, adoption of modern technology and improvement of field operations would remain key priorities for the development and progress of TESCO.
TESCO officers and employees welcomed the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer and expressed their best wishes for his tenure.
