Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab, Zeeshan Ashiq Malik, has stated that, under the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, all facilities will be provided to the participants of the processions and gatherings of Azadari Hussain during Muharram, and the sentiments of different sects will be respected.
Zeeshan Ashiq Malik expressed these views during his visit to Attock while speaking with the organizers and officials of the processions and gatherings of the Imambargahs.
During his visit to Attock, the Special Assistant received a detailed briefing from Deputy Commissioner Attock Rao Atif Raza regarding the processions and gatherings of Imambargah Panjtani Attock City and Imambargah Hussainia Kamalpur Syedan Attock Cantt.
During his visit to Attock, the Special Assistant was accompanied by former Punjab Provincial Minister Jahangir Khanzada, Deputy Commissioner Attock Rao Atif Raza, District Police Officer Attock Dr. Sardar Ghayas Gul Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner General Attock Anil Saeed, Assistant Commissioner Tehsil Attock Shagufta Jabeen, Chief Officer Municipal Attock Sardar Aftab Ahmed Khan, President Imambargah Panjtani Attock City Syed Raza Haider Naqvi, General Secretary Athar Zaidi, Syed Akbar Kazmi, Syed Ali Naqvi (Syedan), Qamar Abbas Jafri, Syed Zafar Zaidi, former Punjab Assembly candidate Malik Hameed Akbar Khan, Syed Shahid Zaidi, Chief Sanitary Officer Municipal Attock Aamir Ilyas, and Chief Security Officer Attock Taimoor Khan.
While praising the arrangements made for Muharram, Special Assistant Zeeshan Ashiq Malik told the organizers of the processions and gatherings that if any issues arise during the processions and gatherings, they can be resolved by sitting with Assistant Commissioner Tehsil Attock Shagufta Jabeen and Chief Officer Municipal Attock Sardar Aftab Ahmed Khan.
He also urged the participants and organizers of the gatherings to unite and thwart the nefarious designs of anti-state elements, which aligns with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz’s vision to eliminate enemies of the state so that the country can progress.
