PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Syed Fakhar Jihan, has praised the exceptional performance of female players from the province at the US Junior Squash Championship. He awarded Rs500,000 to Mahnoor, who won the gold medal in the Under-13 Junior Category, and Rs 200,000 to Seharish, who secured the bronze medal. During a meeting on Thursday, both players were recognized for their achievements. The Minister commended their success, calling them valuable assets to the province and the country. He emphasized that the provincial government’s vision, under Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, is to fully support and encourage athletes, particularly talented ones.
