PESHAWAR: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operation, Farhan Khan on Saturday directed Ababeel Squal (the city’s specialized patrolling unit) to take tough action against street criminals. He issued these directives while chairing a perfromance review meeting of the Squad. He reviewed overall performance of the squad, and patrolling system. During the meeting, DSP Ababeel Usman Khan gave a comprehensive briefing about the responsibilities, operational strategy, performance so far and future plans of the Ababeel Squad. On this occasion, SSP Operations praised the Squad and directed that duties should be performed in a professional manner to better protect the public, crime prevention and immediate response. He said that most important goal was making sure public trusts the police. He also directed officers to adopt policy of discipline, good attitude and effective strategy. APP
