An important meeting held here on Tuesday with SSP Operations Haroon Rasheed Khan in the chair, reviewed security plan for the upcoming local government by-election in tehsil Mathra.
The meeting which was held at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines discussed in details the security planning for the abovementioned election.
On this occasion, SSP operation said sensitivity of polling stations on the occasion of election, better and strict security arrangements will be made in which the cooperation of all candidates and workers is also very important.
He said that special campaign against vehicles with black glasses, double-riding motorcycles and unnumbered motorcycle riders is also underway to maintain law and order.
Special blockades and strict checking will be done around the polling station.
SSP Operations Peshawar said that all political leaders and candidates should hold a rally or meeting in a specific place which is peaceful and secure to avoid any untoward situation.
Leaders, candidates and workers of all parties should cooperate with the police and administration in security arrangements, SSP Operations added.
