SSP Operation reviews security measures

An important meeting held here on Sunday with SSP Operations Peshawar Kashif Aftab Abbasi in the chair, reviewed law and order situation and crimes prevention strategy of the police in the provincial capital.
The meeting was held at Malik Saad Police Lines and attended by the SHOs and in-charges of various police posts in Peshawar. The forum decided strict action against illegal activities including drugs, extortion, illegal Sims, smuggling and unregistered motorcycles and vehicles. SSP Operations directed quarter concerned to initiate actions, strict surveillance of ordinary criminals as well as to prevent unregistered motorcycles and vehicles to prevent unpleasant incidents.
Abbasi issued special instructions for the identification of hotspots across the district and said that police must control street crimes, land grabbing mafia, gambling, illicit weapons, wanted criminals and existing criminals in the limits of various police stations.
Drugs, especially for ice -free Peshawar, need to work more efficiently, with effective policy, comprehensive and coordinated operations can be maintained by the city’s peace, he said and added that all hotels of the provincial capital should put under special monitoring through hotel watch app, collect data of hotel, banks, livelihoods, safety of Peshawar residents, industrialists and traders is the top priority, SHOs, outposts and staff arrives at the police station.

During the meeting, the SSP directed the police officers that action should be initiated against drugs, especially ice, SSP Operations said.
