Mithi: SSP Tharparkar Adil Memon convened an important meeting with district police officers after taking charge of his post. The meeting was attended by SDPOs, SHOs, and heads of various police branches. According to the Tharparkar police spokesperson, the meeting aimed to review the crime situation in the district and develop strategies to ensure law and order. Addressing the meeting, SSP Adil Memon emphasized that protecting the lives and property of the people is the police’s primary responsibility. He urged all officers to fulfill their duties with dedication and take effective measures to curb criminal activities. He directed SHOs to conduct daily search operations, ensure strict monitoring at checkpoints, and carry out regular patrolling in their respective areas. SSP Memon warned that any SHO failing to maintain law and order in their jurisdiction would face departmental action along with the concerned DSP. Speaking about the rising incidents of suicides, SSP Memon stressed the need for thorough and transparent investigations. He instructed SHOs to conduct detailed inspections of crime scenes, ensure post-mortem examinations, and play an active role in maintaining peace and order in their areas. News Desk
