The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Engineer Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that strong economic base of the country is must for ensuring prosperity of people; stability and integrity of the country and well-being of the nation. With this aim in mind, he added, effective and comprehensive steps are underway by the Federal Government for ensuring better future for the country.
He was addressing a prestigious ceremony held under the aegis of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in a local hotel on Tuesday. Senator, Haji. Ghulam Ali, the Iranian Consul General Mr. Baqir, the Vice President of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Mr. Muhammad Riaz Khattak and a large number of businessmen.

Further highly eulogized the role and services of the industrialists and businessmen in revival of the economy of the country and said that their contribution is quite visible and well acknowledged in restoration of stability of the country. “We indeed are now at a quite better position as compared to the past and there exist highly congenial atmosphere and attractive opportunities both in the province and FATA for promotion of investment.
Earlier, Mr. Muhammad Riaz Khattak while presenting the address of welcome also highlighted the difficulties and problems being faced by the trade and business community of the province in particular. #
