Talal Chaudhary accompanies Malaysian interior minister pay visits to Pakistan Monument, Islamabad Police Lines

Malaysian Interior Minister Saifuddin Nasution bin Ismail, accompanied by Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhary on Thursday visited the Pakistan Monument and Islamabad Police Lines during his official visit to Pakistan.
Upon his arrival at the Pakistan Monument, the Malaysian interior minister was welcomed by a contingent of the Federal Constabulary, which presented a guard of honour. The ceremony marked the beginning of a visit aimed at strengthening cooperation and understanding between the two countries in the fields of security and public service.

During the visit, Saifuddin Nasution paid tribute at the Martyrs’ Memorial. He laid a floral wreath, offered prayers, and remembered the sacrifices made by security personnel who lost their lives while serving the nation. He acknowledged their contributions and expressed respect for their commitment and service.
Officials briefed the Malaysian minister on the history and significance of the Pakistan Monument, which represents the country’s heritage and national identity. He was informed about the monument’s symbolism and its role in preserving the memory of important milestones in Pakistan’s history. The Malaysian minister appreciated the importance of the site and its connection to the country’s national narrative.

Later, in his honour, a parade was held at Islamabad Police Lines. A special contingent of Islamabad Police presented a salute, while the national anthems of Pakistan and Malaysia were played during the ceremony.
Saifuddin Nasution inspected the parade and reviewed the performance of police personnel. He commended the officers and officials for their professional conduct and discipline.
Recognising their services, he distributed awards among members of the force for their performance and dedication to duty.
Senior officials attended the event, including Inspector General of Federal Constabulary Riaz Nazir Gara, Inspector General of Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Deputy Inspector General of Islamabad Police, and other officers.
