Speaker National Assembly (NA) Ayyaz Sadiq has said PTI calls this house illegal and if this house is fake then is chairman standing committee not illegal.
He said this while talking to media men here Friday.
He said he is called havaldar and I feel pride for it. There are two kinds of havaldars. One catches thief and other is martyred.
He said Omar Ayoub alleged he is not allowed to talk. He delivered speech for over one half by saying this. Is it not open contradiction. Then he accuses then his questions are not taken. I can present record in this regard. He does not come to house therefore, his calling attention notices are dropped.
I will now work as per rules. I will allow one opposition member to speak after two government members. When you are not present in the house and will continue to protest then you will get less chance.
We are hopeful talks take place. But talks should not be held for the sake of one person. Government wanted to finish talks and it was ordered talks have to be suspended.
He further praised the Capital Development Authority (CDA) for its goal of planting 1 million trees in Islamabad, acknowledging the initiative as a significant step toward environmental preservation. While initiating the tree plantation campaign, he stressed the importance of tree planting in mitigating the environmental crisis. “Pakistan is one of the most vulnerable countries facing severe environmental threats,” he said, and praised the Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and his team efforts for initiative to plant 10 million trees, which he called a pivotal effort for securing the country’s future. He also announced plans to transform Parliament into a “Green Parliament”.
