The Two members of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly took oath as Provincial Ministers at Governor House here on Thursday.
Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman administered oath to the members of newly elected cabinet of KP during an impressive ceremony.
Those who were administered oath including Shahram Khan Tarakai and Anwar Zeb Khan.
Later, the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Shah Farman congratulated the newly appointed Provincial Ministers and wished him success in discharging of their respective responsibilities in the best public interest.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan, Provincial Ministers Taimur Saleem Jhagra, Shaukat Yousafzai, Qalandar Lodhi, Sultan Muhammad, Special Assistant to CM for Information and Local Government Kamran Khan Bangash, MPAs, Administrative Secretaries and others.
Earlier this year, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government had removed its three ministers Shahram Tarakai, Atif Khan and Shakeel Ahmed from their positions who were allegedly the masterminds of ‘a pressure group’.
In the month of January, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government had made major reshuffling in the provincial cabinet. The move was taken by CM KP Mahmood Khan after displeasure and non-happiness with the behaviour of the majority of the cabinet members. As per notification, nine special assistants and two new ministers were inducted in the provincial cabinet of KP.
