Swat police have traced a blind murder case and arrested accused for killing a 19 years old teenager.
According to police, on December 5, 2022, a murder case was reported to Manglawar police station that a 19 years old teenager Zain Ur Rehman s/o Sami Ur Rehman resident of Malookabad Mingora was brutally murdered and his dead body was recovered from the crime scene. Police registered FIR and started investigation.
The RPO Malakand Sajjad Khan and DPO Swat Shafiullah Gandapur tasked SP Investigation for arrest of culprit. The DPO Swat formed team under the supervision of SP Investigation Shah Hassan khan, SHO Manglawar police station Hayat Khan and other officers.
The police team after hectic efforts netted the accused Asmat Ali s/o Akhtar Ali resident of Malookabad Mingora.
During the investigation, it was found that the deceased was shot dead by his own neighbor Asmat Ali. Police said that the secret behind the incident was that the deceased had kept Rs 22 lakh with the accused and when the deceased asked for his money back, the accused took the deceased to the crime scene and killed him.
During the investigation, 13 lakh 50 thousand rupees have been recovered from the possession of the accused. The people of Swat shown their satisfaction and appreciated the role of Swat police by tracing the blind murder case.
