KHYBER: Opposition councilors in Jamrud council demanded of the tehsil mayor to call the urgent tehsil council meeting to discuss problems being faced by the people of Jamrud. In a joint meeting of the councilors of Pakistan Tehreeke Insaf(PTI)Shamsher Khan,Muhammad Irfan,Jamiat Ullame Islam,FazalrehMan(JUI-F) councilors Mulana Saeed Haqqani,Maulana Abdul Qadeer and Shahd Khan Afridi,Haji Shahid Zaman of United Panel held in Jamrud on Monday asked the Tehsil Chairman to convene meeting of the council to discuss certain issues and to brought it in the notice of highup. Counting problems being faced by the tribesmen they added excessive load shedding in Jamrud had made life of the laymen miserable besides large scale cutting of forest in Tirah Valley posed a threat to the natural life and beauty of the Valley. The councilors urged fair survey and respectful repatriation of the displaced people of Koki Khel tribe in the second phase. They expressed their dissatisfaction over the poor performance of the chairman and said during 15 months one moot was conducted that put a question mark on the efficiency of the chairman.
