TESCO’s Chairman, 3 BoD members appointed

Peshawar: The federal government has appointed three independent directors, including a chairman from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the board of directors of the Tribal Areas Electric Supply Company (TESCO), a company working to distribute electricity to tribal districts. According to a notification issued by the Federal Ministry of Energy, Power Division, Islamabad, in this regard, former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa bureaucrat, Ex Secretary Energy and Power Engineer Muhammad Naeem, has been appointed as the chairman of the board of directors of TESCO, former bureaucrats Ms. Farah Hamid and Naveed Orakzai have been appointed as independent directors who will run the administrative affairs of the company under the Governance and Operation Act 2023. Their appointment has been made after the approval of a committee of the federal cabinet. News Desk
