Three persons were killed and one got wounded when a hand grenade went off here in Nala, Malikdin Khel village of Tehsil Bara, district Khyber on Saturday, police said.
The police said that a hand grenade suddenly exploded in the house of Dawlat Mir, Malikdin Khel.
As a result three persons identified Dawlat Mir son of Zamir, Haroon son of Gulmat and Rehmatullah son of Gulistan killed on the spot while one Habibullah son of Dawlat Mir sustained injuries.
The wounded and the bodies were shifted to Dogra hospital, Bara, police said.
Soon after the incident Station House Officer Hardam Khan Afridi moved to the site and started investigation, police said.
According to the SHO in initial enquiry the casualties occurred due to hand grenade blast however further investigation had been begun in the case.
