Sharqi (Southern) Police on Saturday arrested three suspected members of a gang involved in robbery and recovered snatched cash worth 51,000 from their possessions.
SHO Police Station Sharqi, Arbab Naeem Haider told reporters that the arrested suspects were involved in robbing innocent citizens in a taxi motor car.
During the investigation, they have admitted to robbing innocent people on different highways of the city, from whose possession 51,000 rupees of stolen money has been recovered, and the motor car used in different places has also been taken into police custody.
More important revelations are expected during the investigation
According to the details, Habibullah reported three persons had snatched money and other items from him in a taxi motor car.
Police after a comprehensive investigation on scientific basis, including several criminals and also obtained data from CCTV cameras, during which the real culprits involved in the incident was traced.
The suspects have been identified as Hassan Khan, Abdul Basit and Zahoor, residents of Gulbahar, Shaheen Muslim Town and Nagman area of district Peshawar.
