Three soldiers’ sustained injuries when a suicide bomber rammed his explosive laden vehicle to security forces check point here at Dars Jumaat, Aka Khel area of Tirah Valley on Wednesday.
The security officials said that unknown suicide struck his car with the forces checkpoint injuring three soldiers including Naib Subedar Muhammad Israr, Sepoy Shafiq and Sepoy Iftekhar.
Soon after the blast, the security officials rushed to the site, cordoned off the area and shifted the wounded to the military hospital for medical aid.
Evidence from the site was collected and a search operation was launched in the area, the forces official said.
On the other hand, a security personnel got wounded in firing of unknown armed persons in Bara last night.
According to the forces official the wounded soldier identified as Amirzada was taken to Combined Military Hospital, Peshawar for medical help.
