TMO Mardan fired a large number of temporary employees on the instructions of the provincial government.
The graduating Daily Wages employees were recruited by the former TMO at the behest of the local assembly members. The fired employees have also received several months’ salary. On the office audit report, the provincial government directed dismissal.
Many of the unemployed employees are highly educated. According to the details, the new Tehsil Municipal Officer, Nisar Khan, who took charge in Tehsil Municipal Authority Mardan yesterday, dismissed 50 temporary employees of TMA, including Naib Qasida, on temporary contracts for a six-month contract through Order No. 123. Done A large number of the dismissed employees were recruited by former TMO officer Sarfraz Khan on the recommendation of local assembly members.
Against which the audit department of TMA had informed the provincial ministry of local government that it was a burden on TMA.
On which the provincial government took immediate action and issued instructions to dismiss the temporary employees recruited only after two months. To be clear, the retiring employees are long-serving PTI workers. The majority of them are educated unemployed youth. Unemployed youth are deeply disappointed by TMO Mardan’s initiatives.
