PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Sports and Culture Wing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Provincial Joint Secretary Shah Nawaz Khan has reaffirmed his commitment to working for the development of Torghar district and the welfare of its people. Speaking to the media, Shah Nawaz Khan strongly condemned the ban on the supply of flour from Punjab to KP, terming it an unconstitutional and anti-people move. He said that restricting inter-provincial trade and supply goes against the spirit of the Constitution of Pakistan and undermines national unity. He emphasized that the PTI seeks complete control over the rights and resources of the province, as guaranteed by the Constitution. The people have given a clear mandate to Imran Khan, but that mandate continues to be disrespected, he remarked. Shah Nawaz Khan further said that preventing an elected Chief Minister from meeting his party leader was contrary to democratic traditions and damages public trust. Such actions create division between the federating units and weaken democracy, he added. DLP Report
