Markazi Tanzeem-e-Tajiran Mardan on Tuesday staged a rally in favour of state institutions outside the Mardan press club.
The rally was led by president Zahir Shah, Chairman Ghulam Sarwar, Vice president Awas Khan and other office bearers of the organization.
Large number of traders attended the rally. The participants of the rally were carrying banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favor of the Army and judiciary and chanted slogans in favor of the Pakistan army and judiciary. Later on addressing a crowded news conference Zahir Shah said that under a well-organized external conspiracy, the country’s institutions, especially the Pakistan Army and the judiciary, continue to be discredited. He added that in the current time as a nation we should stand with the state institutions.
He added that first state and then politics. He argued that the Army and judiciary is a state institution and standing with the constitution of the country. Zahir Shah argued that the stability and peace of the country lies in the strength of the institutions.
He added that in the current situation under a well-organized external conspiracy the country institutions are targeting. He argued that the army made immense sacrifices for the peace and stability of the country.
He added that in the current time on the name of politics character assassination of the army and judiciary is continued in continued. Zahir Shah argued that under such circumstances, how will the country’s economy improve. He added that they strongly condemned this act and stood with the state institutions.
