The City Traffic Police Peshawar organized an awareness seminar on traffic rules at Peshawar Model Boys 3 School, aimed at educating students on road safety and responsible driving.
The seminar was attended by teachers, students, and staff in large numbers. DSP Headquarters Zahoor Khan, along with the education team of the City Traffic Police, addressed the participants and highlighted the importance of seat belts, helmets, zebra crossings, and adherence to traffic rules.
Speaking at the event, DSP Zahoor Khan said, “Using seat belts and helmets while traveling can prevent accidents and save lives. The City Traffic Police regularly visits educational institutions to educate students on traffic rules to reduce accidents and ensure public safety.”
Chief Traffic Officer Dr Zahidullah, in a statement from Traffic Headquarters Gulbahar, stressed the importance of line discipline, avoiding mobile phone use while driving, and always fastening seat belts. “Accidents can only be controlled through strict enforcement of traffic rules. Organized traffic reflects a civilized society, and professional training equips individuals to handle situations better,” he said.
