PESHAWAR: Muhammad Faiq Shah, founder and chairman of the Amun Taraqqi Party said Feb 8 election will determine future and right direction for the country and expressed confidence that political elites, opportunists and mafia who grabbed politics for decades, they will be defeated with people’s vote. Faiq emphasized transparent polls are essential to elect true public representatives and steer the country from a quagmire situation and called for removal of the impression of rigging in the election. The party leader pledged to change the fate of the people of Pakistan, promising to address the prevailing issues of inflation, unemployment, poverty and economic crisis. Responding to direct online queries of people from different walks of life and segments on Friday, Shah said only a true public representative government will remove suffering of people. He asked people to reject mafia and political manipulators with the power of their vote in the Feb 8 elections. Shah held rulers and politicians responsible for plunging Pakistan into a challenging situation at internal and external fronts. The ATP chief asked ticket holders to go door to door and convey the party’s message of public authority and justice, for which the ATP struggled for the last seven years and played an integral role in highlighting public issues at every fora and put them before all segments of the society.
