Resident of Piro Khel village of Landi Kotal demanded recovery of his brother, who has been allegedly kidnapped by the Tehsildar from the lock up of the local police station last day.
Addressing to a press conference in District Press Club, Landi Kotal on Thursday Abu Bakar son of Barkat Ali, resident of Piro Khel village of Landi Kotal said that two days back his brother Hazrat Ali went Landi Kotal police station to pursue his domestic case in Dispute Resolution Center(DRC),Landi Kotal.
At the same time, Tehsildar, Landi Kotal Temour Afridi, appeared in the scene and directed the police to arrest him on the pretext that he has his debtor.
He approached the District Court, Jamrud against it and twice got a search warrant of the police station to produce his brother, Abu Bakar said.
But ironically, on the order of the Court when the Bailiff arrived to examine the police station lock up, with support of the local police officials, the Tehsildar disappeared his brother, Hazrat Ali from the lock up and still he is missing.
We have no dispute with the accused, Tehsildar Temour Afridi, he added and demanded of the Commissioner, Peshawar Division, Deputy Commissioner (DC), Khyber, District Police Officer (DPO), Khyber, Assistant Commissioner (AC), Landi Kotal and other concerned officials to help him by recovering his brother from the illegal custody of the Tehsildar, Temour Afridi.
When the Station House Officer(SHO),Landi Kotal police station Adnan Afridi was contacted on the matter he said that last day Tehsildar Temour Afridi lodged First Information Report(FIR)pertaining monetary dispute against Hazrat Ali and Kafayat however no arrest has been made in it so far, he said.
