Tribesmen renew commitment to support struggle of Kashmiries

October 27 was commemorated as “Black Day” in Landi Kotal to express solidarity with the people of Kashmir on Sunday.
Under the auspices of local administration, a protest demonstration was organized in the Tehsil compound that was attended by the scores of officials, tribesmen and workers of Tehsil Municipal Authority (TMA).
The marchers while holding banner and placards inscribed with statements in favor of Kashmiri people.
Speaking on the occasion speakers reaffirmed that the people of Pakistan would continue moral, diplomatic and political support to the Kashmiri people till the recognition of their right of self-determination, as ensured by the basic rights charter.
They maintained that a lasting solution to the Kashmir dispute was possible only in accordance with the relevant UN Security Council Resolutions and wishes of the Kashmiri people.
The participants took a rally from the tehsil compound till the main bazaar square, while chanting slogans like “Kashmir will become Pakistan” Long Live Pakistan etc.
They offered special prayers for the independence of Kashmir and dispersed peacefully.
