Two fraudsters held with Rs0.5m cash

ISLAMABAD: The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Islamabad Police arrested two fraudsters involved in looting the citizens and recovered five hundred thousand rupees cash from their possession here on Sunday.
The SIU of Islamabad Police responding to the public complaints traced to culprits looting citizens through fake messages and mobile phone calls that claiming that they have won cash prizes in luck draw.
The citizens were asked to deposit cash of five to ten thousand rupees to claim their prize and when the desired money was deposited the culprits switch off their cell numbers.
The SIU of Islamabad Police traced the culprits and arrested them during a crackdown besides recovering Rs500,000 rupees cash from their possession.
The detainees identified as Habib Ahmad and Muhammad Yousaf stated to be hailing from Sargodha were being interrogated after registering a case against them.
