Mannanwala: Two young friends were killed when their speeding motorcycle collided with a footpath near Flyover Chowk on Lahore Road and overturned, rescue officials said. The deceased were identified as 20-year-old Shahid and 18-year-old Muhammad Ali. Both were reportedly residents of Gali Khajoor Wali, Mohalla Machis Factory. According to rescue officials, the two youths were travelling on a motorcycle from their home towards the River Ravi when the motorcycle went out of control due to excessive speed near the flyover and crashed into the footpath. Both riders fell headfirst onto the road and sustained fatal injuries. Police completed the necessary legal formalities and handed over the bodies of the two friends to their heirs. ONLINE
