Two months salary has been paid to NCCIA employees : IHC told

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has been told that two months salaries have been paid to the employees of National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). The hearing of central case has been adjourned for indefinite period. The petitions regarding regularization of 73 contract employees of grade 16 and 17 of NCCIA came up for hearing in IHC Wednesday. The court was told two month’s salary has been paid to contract employees according to their duty on expiry of contract period. Director Legal NCCIA Sarfraz Khatana told the court two months salary has been paid to the employees under court’s order. NCCIA sought more time for filing reply in connection with regularization of the employees. The court while accepting plea adjourned the hearing of the case. Justice Azam Khan heard the employees petitions. The court wrapped up the contempt of court plea following the payment of salary to NCCIA employees. The hearing of central case was adjourned for indefinite period. ONLINE
