RAWALPINDI: UC vice chairman has been killed during aerial firing in a marriage ceremony in Zia ul Haq Colony under the jurisdiction of Pir Wadhai police station. CPO Sajid Kiani has suspended SHO Pir Wadhai in connection with aerial firing incident. Police said aerial firing took place in the marriage of one Zahoor on the night between Tuesday and Wednesday in Zia ul Haq colony. One bullet hit Union Council vice chairman Muhammad Naeem Khan leaving him critically injured. He was shifted to Holy Family hospital where he breathed his lost. Police have registered case against bride groom and started arresting the accused persons. CPO Rawalpindi directed SP Rawal division to arrest the suspects as soon as possible. Online
