ISLAMABAD: The United Kingdom (UK) government’s Trade Commissioner Simon Penney called on Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda here on Monday and discussed with him issues of bilateral interests. According to a statement issued here, during the meeting, Faisal Vawda informed the UK Trade Commissioner about investment opportunities in Pakistan particular in water resource sector. He said that the investment would benefit both the countries besides further strengthening the bilateral ties and taking them to new heights. The Minister Water Resources said that Pakistan would soon be in list of fast developing countries. Speaking on the occasion, Simon Penney expressed the desire to support further construction of dams in Pakistan. INP
