SWAT: To address overwhelming student demand, Vice Chancellor (VC) of the University of Swat Dr Hassan Sher Khan has announced the introduction of second-shift classes in various departments of the university. This decision follows historic registrations across all faculties, with concerns about accommodating large numbers of students. Dr Sher assured that the university is aware of students’ difficulties and has taken necessary steps to address them. A high-level meeting will be convened next week to finalize arrangements for the second shift, expected to commence within two weeks. Dr. Sher acknowledged resource constraints but emphasized the university’s commitment to providing quality education, urging the provincial government to allocate grants to support University of Swat’s growth. This initiative aims to provide better opportunities for students pursuing higher education. DLP Report
