Tensions between the United States and Venezuela have been going on for a long time, and the situation between them was extremely tense. It seemed many times that a war was about to break out. In September 2025, the situation had reached such a point that a war was possible. The United States alleges that Venezuela is selling narcotics and is also involved in arms smuggling. Now the United States has attacked Venezuela. The most shocking news was that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife have been arrested and brought to the United States. Nicolas will face criminal charges in the United States and will also be sentenced. It is possible that a compromise can be reached with the United States by giving a lot. US President Donald Trump has also announced that the United States will run Venezuela and will also take over the management of oil until a proper transfer of power is made. The Venezuelan government has rejected all US allegations and said that the United States wants to seize minerals and oil. An emergency has been declared in Venezuela. Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez has condemned US aggression. Condemning, she said that the country’s Defense Council has been activated. She further explained that the reaction is expected to come out immediately. Delcy, addressing the nation, said that in our country Venezuela, there is a clear system of government for our people. She further said that the President of Venezuela is still Nicolas Maduro. The US President has clearly announced that we will manage Venezuela until the transfer of power. A proper transfer of power means that a government that protects American interests comes to power in Venezuela. However, the US is a powerful country and Venezuela is a weak state in economic and defense terms, so now the US will not easily leave Venezuela.
Venezuela has huge oil reserves and other minerals. The wealth of this country is attracting others.In terms of defense and politics, this country is not that strong, so the United States has easily preyed on it. Venezuela may retaliate, but it is clear that the war will push Venezuela towards further destruction. The civilian population has still been attacked and missiles have been fired at military bases. Fires have also broken out in several places in the capital, Caracas. A severe attack by the United States could destroy Venezuela. Therefore, it can be said that the Venezuelan government will bow to the United States and the demands will be easily accepted. Resistance may begin from Venezuela, but it is unlikely to succeed. Now the wealth of Venezuela will be seized and the people there will be pushed into further poverty. Even before, the poverty rate in Venezuela is very high. The United States has also established a so-called government to show the world. But that government will also protect American interests.
Undoubtedly, attacking a free state is illegal, but it has been attacked. The United Nations has also expressed serious concern over the US actions. Many other countries, including China and Russia, have also strongly criticized this action of the US. However, this criticism or concern cannot harm the US. It is also the moral duty of the international community to oblige the US to take care of the fundamental rights of others. Now Maduro will also be sentenced in court and it is unlikely that he will be released. If the Venezuelan government is really involved in narcotics trafficking, this is also a crime. Assuming that Venezuela is not involved in drug trafficking, then making a so-called accusation is also a crime. There is a possibility that the US will also send ground troops. Venezuela can neither defend itself by air nor by land, but if other powers help it, it may be able to defend itself. However, it seems very unlikely that any other state will help Venezuela. Venezuela will have to decide sooner or later whether to accept the American demands. Nicolas could also be severely punished in the United States. It is a very difficult process to attack any country and arrest its president and bring him to our country, but it has been done. Other powers may also come to the aid of the United States to obtain the wealth of Venezuela. However, at the moment, the situation seems to be in favor of the United States. The United States is taking advantage of this golden opportunity and a ground war may also begin to further strengthen its grip on Venezuela. This is also a lesson for others that if its defense is not strengthened, situations like this can arise. Political stability is also necessary and the government should have strong contacts with the people, only then can a state be strong. The people of Venezuela also have their mistakes. If the country had been strengthened, they would not have had to see this day. Some States are not economically strong but are defensively strong, so they are able to maintain their existence. Venezuela may be able to resist for some time, but it will not be able to withstand the US for long. However, it is a sad situation that a free state is attacked, but it has happened many times before and will continue to happen in the future.
