Vice Chancellor of the University of Swat, Prof Dr Hassan Sher, called on Higher Education Commission (HEC) Chairman Prof Dr Niaz Ahmad Akhtar in Islamabad, where they discussed academic progress and institutional development.
HEC Executive Director Prof Dr Zia ul Haq was also present during the meeting.
According to details, the vice chancellor briefed the chairman on ongoing initiatives and recent developments at the University of Swat. He highlighted efforts aimed at strengthening academic standards and expanding institutional capacity.
The HEC chairman appreciated the university’s performance and acknowledged the leadership’s role in promoting academic excellence.
During the meeting, Prof Dr Hassan Sher invited the HEC chairman to visit the University of Swat. Prof Dr Niaz Ahmad Akhtar accepted the invitation and expressed interest in supporting the university’s future plans.
