ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Coordinator for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Affairs, Ikhtiar Wali Khan, on Tuesday accepted the challenge from CM Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi for the Punjab CM to hold a public gathering in the province and called on CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz to visit KPK, noting that previous gatherings in the region had drawn historic crowds and suggesting that another event could attract massive public participation. Speaking with a local media channel, Wali Khan said that they accepted the challenge from CM KPK Sohail Afridi for political gatherings, adding, they are ready and not afraid, showing that people are watching how the current leadership is performing. Further, he reminded everyone that Maryam Nawaz and Muhammad Nawaz Sharif have a long history of holding large and successful gatherings in Peshawar. Wali Khan also invited the CM of Punjab to come and show their political strength, while criticizing the KPK leadership for poor governance and disrespectful language. Online
