Medical doctors and paramedics staff have not received salaries for the last eight months. There is a fear of going on strike. On the other hand, the dialysis system is a complete failure due to lack of funding. The DHO said to be in touch with the higher authorities of the health department to provide the budget soon.
65 patients are suffering from the struggle of life and death. Due to the stoppage of salaries of the hospital staff for the last 8 months, the employees are forced to starve. It is not a happy situation. In view of this distressing situation for the patients, there is a fear that the hospital will be closed from tomorrow. The failure of DG Health in funding closure is unfortunate. The best building of hospital should be handed back to the government so that the government can do something for the poor patients. In this regard, the political leader Taj Muhammad Wazir told the media that if the local administration does not take notice of this issue, the Army Colony in front of the Javed Sultan camp will be taken from Tokal. Neither will the protest sit-in.

Dr. Inayat u Rahman, DHO , said to media on contic that it is on public partnership, so for the better treatment of the public and the poor and indigent patients, I have asked the Sheikha Fatima Sholam Model Hospital to get a budget. Since its responsibility is with private partnership, Wana health staff also revealed that the local military leadership can play best role in the this matter of the hospital.
It should be remembered that dialysis patients come to the said hospital from neighboring Afghanistan including various areas of Waziristan, but the patients die due to the inactivity of the hospital.
The public expressed their deep regret over the lack of budget for the hospital and said that it is a proof of the complete failure of the DG Health of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department and is like playing with human lives.
