Shah Qabool police, in coordination with women police, have arrested a woman allegedly involved in the theft of gold jewellery from a house in the Sirka Gate area of Khyber Kalay and recovered 17 tolas of gold, police said on Tuesday. The arrested suspect, identified as Ms M, daughter of Syeda Jan and a resident of Kohat Road, was employed as a domestic worker at the house, according to police.
The theft had been reported by the complainant, Aurangzeb, son of Abdul Mannan, who informed Shah Qabool police that unidentified persons had stolen gold jewellery from his house.
