PESHAWAR
Women from different walks of life took part in a special trip of the BRT Peshawar Pink Bus Service following its launch and welcomed the women-only transport facility as a step towards providing safer and more dignified public transport in the provincial capital.
The inaugural trip was attended by Senator Rubina Naz, Provincial Ombudsperson Rubab Mehdi, Secretary of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Commission on the Status of Women Shazia Atta, former MPA Rabia Basri and Frontier College for Women Principal Dr Shaheen Umar.
