PESHAWAR: In connection with the World Population Day the LHVs and other staff of the District Health Office under the leadership of DHO Dr. Syed Nasir Shah, Deputy DHO Dr. Sher Bahadur and Deputy DHO Abbottabad Dr. Shahzad organized an awareness walk in collaboration with Green Star Social Marketing on Saturday. Dr. Idris, National Program Coordinator, Dr. Ashfaq of Abbottabad and representative of the society participated in the walk. They appreciated the LHVs and other staff for holding the awareness walk in connection with the World Population Day that was falling on July 11, last. The purpose of celebrating World Population Day is to create awareness among people about population and its related challenges.
