ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Thursday was nominated in yet another FIR registered in connection with May 9 violence. Sources in the police said that it was alleged in the FIR that the PTI chairman had exhorted the party workers to attack and damage the main gate of the Gujranwala cantonment. Following the incident, police had handed over 10 persons to the Pakistan Army for their trial under the Army Act. Thousands of people, heartbroken over the arrest of Imran Khan on May 9, ransacked and burnt government and military installations besides damaging memorials of the army’s martyrs in several cities of the country.
