PESHAWAR
A young cricketer passed away after suffering a heart attack during a match in Basal area of Attock on Sunday.
According to rescue officials, the deceased, identified as Amanullah, was a resident of Kisran village in Pindigheb.
He was playing a cricket match at the Railway Ground in Basal when he suddenly collapsed while batting.
Local people immediately rushed to assist him and attempted to shift him to a nearby hospital. However, he could not survive and passed away on the way.
Initial reports suggest that the cause of death was a cardiac arrest.
