The Young Doctors have announced to end their strike in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Outpatient Departments (OPDs) have been restored across the province.
According to report on Wednesday, the Young Doctors Association (YDA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa decided to call off the strike. However, it has been stated that a token strike will continue in Kohat.
The decision to end the protest was made during a YDA General Council meeting.
The association further confirmed that OPDs across the province will resume services starting tomorrow.
The Young Doctors Association stated that while services have been restored province-wide, the token strike in Kohat will remain in place. The government has been given one week to accept their demands. If the demands are not met, the doctors warned that hospitals may once again be shut down.
